Please pray for Fr. Thomas, an Antiochan Orthodox priest in Alaska. He has just had a series of small strokes and will need surgery although they are not going to operate until next week.

Fr. Tom is my daughter, Mary Kay's... father-in-law and the other grand father of my grandchildren.

Mary Jo...gratefully.

Prayers, indeed, Mary Jo, for Fr. Thomas!

Gaudior, who can only say that he sounds like a wonderful man from what you PM'd me.

Thanks Gaudior, for those prayers, yes it is the same person. I am thinking that if you did email him as I suggested he probably won't be getting to his emails for quite a while. Anyway, I am awaiting news of how he is doing and, of course, am concerned.

May he make rapid progress and if surgery is done next week, may God guide the process that it be completely successful.

My prayers for his complete recovery. May this servant of God be granted many more years of health to continue his work.

If my meditation feelings are true the surgery may be a wrong decision and that some other method may be better.

I add my prayers for the successful surgery on Fr. Tom and for his speedy recovery!

I also pray for Fr. Tom's family, on both sides!

Fr. Thomas will be having an angioplasty this week. He is at home now on medication and is doing better.

Thanks so much for your prayers.

Most Holy Theotokos, through your intercession with your Son, grant renewed strength and drive, to your servant priest Fr. Thomas. Jesus make his heart like unto thine, that every beat is a prayer offered in thanksgiving and love to you Lord of all. In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Amen.
