John:
I always add this (or words akin) at the end of my confession:
For all the things I have done, or said, or thought or forgotten not out of a desire to hide sin, and for all those things I have done that have caused harm or scandal to another in his faith or commitment to Christ, or that have caused damage to the Lord's Holy Church or hindered the advancement of the Faith to the ends of the earth, for all these things I am truly sorry.
Don't beat yourself up. The Lord knows we are fragile, we are weak, we fall, but we are always in need of Him, His grace, and His great mercy. HE is merciful, compassionate, long-suffering, and of great goodness, always waiting to take us back into communion.

Many, many thanks to all of you for your prayers. I have been in la-la land (not Los Angeles) ever since the doctors added the third barbituate to my medicine regimen earlier this year.
Now that I am almost weaned off of Clonazepam and Lexapro, a fog is being lifted and I am close to where I was before my defibrillator malfunctioned and shocked me repeatedly on a daily basis.
I pray that the doctors will soon wean me off of the Effexor as well.
Sometimes I wish that the doctors had followed my DNR (Do Not Resuscitate) request, but Jesus has not finished my room my in his Father's House. John 14: 2-3.

Prayers for you, JP, that the Divine Doctor, Jesus Christ, will show you abundant mercy in all your needs. Mary, the Mother of Jesus, please pray for him. St. Therese, the Little Flower, please pray for him.

Our Father, Who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen....May he receive complete release from the control of these drugs in the Name of Jesus our Lord may his healing be complete and in agreement with God's Word among us.

JPP, Indeed He is Risen! From the responses to your post, I would say it is time to take up your mat and walk, my friend. No more worries here... Gordo PS: My daughter is a huge fan ofthe Little Flower. Her life and the life of her family (from whom she learned "The Little Way") is an inspiration for all Christians.
