Brothers and Sisters:

I ask your prayers for my wife Barbara and her brother Greg. They both will be admitted to the University of Alabama in Birmingham on Thursday, June 7th. On Friday morning Greg will give Barb one of his kidneys.

Barb has polycystic kidneys (which we've known for the 37 years of our marriage) and it's time to do the "right thing".

We are overwhelmed by her brothers gift of life.

Dear Father Mike,

I got a little confused...I think that you mistakenly put June 7th instead of July 7th, and thus thought that I was too late. frown

Please accept my prayers at this time for your wife and her brother. What an awesome gift of love your brother in law is giving to his sister. I bow to the selflessness and holiness in him.

May our Lord bless both Barbara and Greg with a sound operation, and a most speedy recovery.

May all the saints in Heaven and our most blessed Lady hear our solemn prayers for your comfort at this worrisome time and for a new beginning of good health for your beloved wife Barbara.

May the example of this situation bring all that know you to praise His Most Holy Name, as He is the giver of life and the Divine doctor and master of our lives-- and in every selfless act of love, and in every miracle, may we, and all who hear of these, always give glory to Him!

Please keep us up to date. Our thoughts and continued prayers will be with all of you on that day and for the week after....

May God bless you all,
Humbly in Christ,
Alice

Fr. Mike, my prayers for your wife and her bother that all goes well in the operations. God bless her brother for his generosity and loving willingness to experience this for his sister. May she be healed and may both recover quickly.

In Jesus Name, Amen

My apologies to all! The operation is scheduled for this Friday, JULY 8th (not June 8th).

We cherish your prayers.
