Dear all,
Could use prayers. I'm in London to finish up the last bit of my degree, and I've been homeless for a month (sleeping in various friends' living rooms). Finally after finding a new place (I'm renting a room) and having been here a week, my live-in landlord has suddenly given me a month's notice to leave.
He says there's nothing wrong with me, but that we're very different people and he's not comfortable with me. He's not given me any indication of what the problem could be, he's not shown any signs of discomfort at all. He's mid30s, a choreographer and gay.
I suspect he doesn't like that I go to church and have icons in my room. It's a bit of a leap, but I can't think of what else could be a problem. He's expressed surprise when he I told him I was in church and he's been making faces when he asks me what i've been up to all day and I tell him I've been doing church stuff.
Good God, this is incredibly bad timing - Holy Week and Pascha's coming up, and I have final exams in a month's time.
He's told me I have a month to leave... I have my last exam on the 13th May, so I'll have to leave the day after my last exam. How on earth am I going to find a new place in this short time, coupled with the need to study for my finals and Holy Week and Pascha?
I could really do with prayers.

in addition, I've 2 5000-word essays due for 6th may but i haven't even got the titles yet - the confounded professor's gone on holiday and won't be back till 23 april (that's great and holy wednesday)... I don't know how I'm going to finish them, what with |Great Week and Pascha coming (I'm due to visit my Spiritual Father in Dublin from 24-39 April) - I'm going to try to ask for an extension.
Everything happens at once... AAARRrrrrgh!
