In your kindness please remember my wife's goddaughter Theresa (17) and her little sister Jeanette (7) who were injured when the van Theresa was driving lost control and rolled over. Theresa has a broken leg and will be released from the hospital tommorrow. Jeanette has a brain contusion and a very badly burned foot.

Thankfully nothing drastic will likely be necessary for her foot, but the burns keep her in much pain and there is still some concern over her brain injury. May God heal His handmaidens.

Prayers for complete recovery for both! Lord, give them strength for every stage of their recuperation and healing! May the therapy teams and physicians be a source of great help for them each day.

Lord healing needs to be physical for the broken parts and the brian contusion. But for Thresa, her emotions are going to need healing also. Be with them Lord, heal them completely body, mind, and spirit. Help the family cope and place their trust in you. Thank you that you prevented the accident from being worse than it was. All for your honor and glory Jesus.

Oh how this brings back memories frown

May God bring them both healing of body and mind.

May Our Blessed Lady keep them both in Her most tender care.

And provide patience, understanding and good humor to the family.

Recovery from brain injury is often like living with an imperfectly housebroken little dog. You never quite know when something is going to happen - and you have to be able to deal with it without throwing the house and relationships into an uproar.
