Folks, in your charity, please crank up the prayer machine. Emily is in the hospital again. She's been having terrible headaches off & on since January, as well as other stuff which now probably makes sense, but didn't then. The docs were thinking migraine. Well someone finally cultured some spinal fluid, and the current thought is viral meningitis. Nobody suspected it, and it usually isn't something that goes on for so long, but her immune system is so suppressed that the usual rules don't apply.
Please also remember her mom Lisa (and the whole family) who is feeling rather inadequate, tired, and fed up with docs who treat her like an idiot. Believe me, she isn't, and if she didn't have the persistence and ferocity of Mama Tiger in getting care for her kids, Emily would have been with God long ago.

Angel of Glasgow, my guardian dear, I think we're OK on the wet stuff  Thanks so much. It's been one of those weeks - at our house my dearly beloved's cholesterol is in the stratosphere and his diabetes is out of control, and I'm awfully worried. Lotsa potholes in this Lenten desert.... fill 'em up with prayer. Sharon
