Dear Sharon,
May the Mother of Jesus intercede for you as you work in the trenches. You certainly make her example of loving care and strength present in the lives of the members of your family and among us here, too!
I have taken your advice and planted myself on the recliner. It was good advice. Like your husband, I'm on the second z pack. The cough medicine with codene is a blessing!
I will try to "rest in the Lord." That's hard to do!
I pray that all of the members of your family respond quickly to treatment and recover soon. May you be given the continued strength to sustain you. It gets kinda messy in the trenches.
May you too be able to "rest in the Lord," without personal illness of course.
Thank you
Steve
(who is in a slightly different position in the trenches.) I'm gonna yawn and cough my way back to the recliner now.

Thank you for your kind words. I appreciate them.
I had a severe sinus infection for which I was on antibiotics for 10 days. Three days after that, on Christmas, I felt the pneumonia. A nurse in the emergency room said that it is bacterial.
I am attempting to be a good patient with some success but some failure, too. I appreciate your suggestions and will try to follow the doctor's advice more closely.
Thanks again!
Steve Try capsicum and garlic and add them to your food. When my husband and I had pneumonia, we used these two spices and it helped to clear up the congestion and made the food taste better. Try some hot Mexican food loaded with garlic -- a win-win situation! Know that I am praying for you. Yours in Christ our God, Elizabeth Maria

I wish Alice or Elizabeth Maria could make a house call. Since that is impractical, I will add more prayers. Best wishes, Steve, that you feel much better very quickly, C of S

Dear Communion of Saints, Thank you my dear sister for your compliment. I guess you all will just have to take my medical advice from afar!! Your sister in Christ, Alice
