Christ is Born! Glorify Him!

Happy New Years!

It is the Feast of the Circumcision of the Lord.

What a way to end and begin a new year biggrin

Thankyou so much for your prayers! God is so good!!!!! And all your blessings of such kind words biggrin . It is awesome to be able to ask for prayers over a phone line and know that somewhere someone in the world is praying for your needs. God is soo good!!!

Mom, Stephanie, is doing fine. I am sure she will be a bit sore after the block and pain meds wear off.

Marley is doing fine, beautifully pink, gonna be a big kid, but having trouble breathing. He is wheezing frown Actually I think he is complaining it is a lot harsher on that incubator than moms tummy....joking

Things were difficult though, they had to do a C-section about 6pm this evening 12/31. Stephanie's water had broke about 10pm last nite 12/30, they went on to the hospital a few hours later. The doctors thought Marley had turned all the way, but he was pushed against her pelvis and couldn't turn the rest of the way.

They have Marley in neo-natul ICU. Either his lungs are not completely developed, he swallowed fluid, or both and there is infection in them. He is on an IV of antibiotics and he was breathing much better when we left. Glory to God!

Dad, William, is a bit bushed but happy biggrin and relieved. Reassured that both mom and baby are going to be fine. I know he was doing a lot of praying today as the days events unfolded.

So as you can see your prayers were much needed for them both, all three. Also, your prayers were answered, they are both safe and will be on their feet before they know it. smile

Congratulations to you, Fr Deacon Stan, William and Stephanie! And continued prayers for young Marley and those taking care of him. The folks who work in neo-natal ICUs are probably the most fantastic folks I have ever encountered in the medical profession.

Dear Grandma Rose,
My prayers are with you, as our 4th child Justin was in the NICU at Cardinal Glennon in St. Louis for 3 weeks and still has a little heart condition. So I can completely empathize with you. I pray for a complete recovery for little Marley

Thank you so much for the prayers and the wonderful congratulations.

I just spoke with my son and Marley is having a bit of a hard time. They have some type of head gear on him to help him breath. The results of the culture won't be back unitl tomorrow from his lungs because they have to grow it, to see what the infection is. They have increased the number of tubes and are drawing blood quiet often.

I am sure he is going to be fine, but he is having a bit of a challange in his start to life. God is the Great Pysician and the healer of man, may he give wisdom to doctors.

The good news is Stephanie is up and moving. I guess they may try to let them hold Marley a bit later today.

So thank you for the prayers!

Congratulations Rose and Deacon Stan!!!

Rose what do you want Marley to call you? My parents tried to get me to call my grandparents grandma and grandpa but i insisted on Memaw and DeeDee and so they remained!

Many blessings to you and the proud parents!

Love

Jason

Congratulations and my prayers to you Deacon Stanly, Pani Rose, William, Stephanie and Marley.

May you receive the strength that the Holy Spirit offers you at this joyous, yet trying time.

Marley is fortunate to be from such a loving family.

Many happy and blessed years to Marley!

Glory to God and thanks be to all of you!

Marleys lungs are a bit undeveloped. They have him on a baby cpap machine biggrin with oxygen. Tomorrow morning they are going to try to take him off of it and see if he can breath on his own. His color is improving, and he is streching out a bit more.

He had grown out of room to move inside Stephanie, so they think he doesn't realize he can strech out yet. So he is not in a complete fetal position. He looks like a little a Thanksgiving Turkey biggrin in the heat table. Little by little his legs and arms are spreading out from his body. I guess he is just concentrating on breathing.

Wow, Yes, a wonderful way to start off a new year with a new arrival. My prayers for the new baby, Marley, and his mom,Stephanie, and dad, William, as well as Pani Rose, Deacon Stan, and family who rejoice in his arrival. May the touch of Divine healing be given him and... God, please, guide all those medical persons who are caring for him.

In the Name of Jesus,

Abba, Father!
