Please pray for the faithful of Latin Rite Diocese of Palm Beach Fl, We are going through our third major scandal in less than 10 years. Two priest are accused of embezzeling about 8 million dollars. Its so easy to feel dishartened

I read about this earlier. How very sad and quite the scandal.
Although it does not make it any less a scandal, it is at least somewhat helpful to know that the Church has faced far worse eras in terms of clergy misbehavior.

Apparently, no details have been made public while the police authorities are finishing their investigation of the two parish pastors as requested by the Diocese of Palm Beach. However, the diocesan website has posted Bishop Barbarito's statement and that of the Chief Financial Officer giving insights into the internal investigation the Diocese conducted. http://www.diocesepb.org/bishop/statements/2006/st09282006.htm Does anyone have the details? I heard about this on the radio I didn't know it was so close to me.
I live in West Palm Beach I offer anything I can do to help. PM me if you can use a healthy adult male.
May the entire company of the saints bless them on thier true intentions. I suspected they were hoping to divert for a good reason. Please let the Holy Spirit build up this Diocese a servant in Christ. May Christ bless and strengthen this Diocese...In the Father Son and Holy Spirit amen.
It may be of note that Palm Beach County recently also had a Political scandal involving pedifile alagations.
