Dear all, I beg your prayers for the people of Texas and of Louisiana as we brace ourselves for yet another hurricane. So many evacuees from Katrina remain without homes and in shelters and now there are others who are having to evacuate. Where will all these people go? Lord have mercy on us! Most Holy and Ever Virgin Mother of God enfold us in your mantle of protection. With gratitude, Marie

St Rita take it away!
Holy Patroness of those in need, Saint Rita, you were humble, pure and patient. Your pleadings with your divine Spouse are irresistible, so please obtain for me from our risen Jesus the request I make of you: {mention your petition}. Be kind ot me for the greater glory of God, and I shall honor you and sing your praises forever. Glorious Saint Rita, you miraculously participated in the sorrowful passion of our Lord Jesus Christ. Obtain for me now the grace to suffer with resignation the troubles of this life, and protect me in all my needs. Amen.

Prayers for all those in danger. Prayers above all that people GO when told to evacuate. No material goods are worth dying for.
Gaudior, who prays that people will pay attention to calls to evacuate.

God, have mercy!
Christ, have mercy!
Holy Theotokos, pray for those in the path of this hurricane.
Lord, have mercy!
Lord, help the rescue people be prepared, united, and able...
Help those who need to evacuate make it to safety, especially the very young and the very old.
And, dear Lord, don't forget to send help for the animals too.
In the Name of Jesus Christ, I pray.
Mary Jo

My prayer is that those who have seen how destructive the previous hurricane was, heed the call and flee to safety. May God protect and watch over those in the path of danger.

Many thanks for your much needed prayers. Here in southwest Louisiana we now have a mandatory evacuation. Please, I beg your prayers for my husband, me and my 2 dogs. We have not yet evacuated because my father-in-law who lives next door refuses to evacuate. He is 89 and has a heart condition and both he and his wife are ill. We can not leave them here. Pray that they may change their minds and decide not to ride out the storm here. We have made all preparations but are not sure what we shall do. Lord have mercy on us! In Christ and the Theotokos, Marie

May our Lord of Angelic Hosts send as many legions of angles as necessary for your protection in all matters. Jesus we just ask that you put their situation into your order, by your grace and authority we ask that the parents yeild to your desire for them, that all may be safe. Most Holy Theotokos pray for them. amen

Dear friends in Christ, I can not thank you enough for all of your prayers! We all evacuated and survived the storm. Thank God the electricity finally came back on tonight. Please continue to pray for us as we head back to our town that looks like a war zone with trees down everywhere. It will be quite awhile before the electricity comes back on over there so we will have to depend on a generator. God is so good! May he continue to strengthen us as we strive to return to a life of normalcy. In Him, Marie

"Glory be to God for all things.I will never cease saying this, whatever befalls me."
My dear friends in Christ, Thank you again for all your prayers for us as we struggle through this disaster. We are home now and living in survival mode. I waited in line for 2 hours so I could get some ice, water and food. While sitting in my car, I used the time for Adoration and prayed all 4 mysteries of the rosary. The Virgin Mary was truly present with me giving me peace and patience. I received my goods from a Christian group called Convoy of Hope. What a blessing to see these smiling faces standing around in the heat directing the cars and giving instructions. They even gave out a card explaining who they are and thanking us for allowing them to assist us! My husband had to wait in line for 5 hours to get gas. The heat index was 105 to 110 degrees today! On the radio they said the Armed Forces said that it was more comfortable in Iraq!!.(speaking of the weather) It is incredibly humid and sticky here. I really miss going to daily Mass and could noteven go on Sunday. It is so strange to see all these Armed Forces all around patroling. Thank God they are keeping peace...it just makes you feel like you are in a war zone or a third world country. I have learned so much from this experience so far. Please pray that I may face the daily challenges with courage, strength and a strong interior peace that is rooted in faith...a faith that sees God's loving hand in all these difficulties and suffering. Thank you all for your compassionate listening. May God bless you. In Him and the Most Holy Theotokos, Marie

I pray deeply for those hurt by this terrible force of nature. May blessings of spiritual growth come to these familys to compensate them for material losses. I feel like I'm praying for holocust victims when praying for storm victims. There have been sooo many terrible storms this year. How many million died from the tidal wave in Asia? I pray that this uncaring abuse of the Earth be reconized as the abomination that it is. I pray that we all make the dificult changes necesary to prevent more horrible storm years in the future.
