Dear Brothers & Sisters in the Lord,

I just learned that my Uncle Roman unexpectantly died on Palm Sunday morning in Warsaw, Poland.

My father was an emigre from that country following WW II. He had to leave his brother and the rest of his family behind. Dad is 81 and his brother was 79. Due to poor health and the international situation, he is not attending the funeral. I know that he is disappointed that he is not able to be in his homeland at this time.

Would you please join me in praying for my relatives in Poland, my father, and the repose of my uncle's soul?

Thank you

PAX

My Dear Benedictine,

Eternal Memory for your Uncle in Poland. May he be greeted by his patron saint and the angels to be led to heaven. Please know that my own father is 83 and I am praying for you, for your father, and for all your family throughout the world.

Vicnaja pamjat.

My father's name, too, was "Roman."

Benedictine:

I join you and your family in your prayers for the eternal repose of your Uncle Roman.

Lord, grant eternal rest unto your servant Roman and let perpetual light shine upon him.

May he rest in peace!

Benedictine,

May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Dear Benedictine,

I pray that your uncle is in the Hands of God. May He grant solace in that to you and to your family.
