This is a rather unusual prayer request, but last Sunday afternoon I had a small get togather, with a brother and sister who attended my grammar school. Meeting them I got some rather shocking news. Way back in 1971-72, I hung around with a kid by the name of James Cuber on an almost daily basis after school. I last saw James around 1976 when we were teenagers, and that was the last I ever heard of him, as we both moved to different areas. Unfortunately I learned 26 years later on Sunday afternoon, that James was fatally stabbed in 1980 during an altercation outside a tavern. He had recently turned 19. I located the cemetery where he's buried today, and plan to make it over in the days ahead. If you would please say a short pray for James' departed soul, it would be greatly appreciated.

AMEN!

Isn't it often that we can pray for those who have touched our lives even though they are no longer present in the flesh. What a gift that you can still give to this young man the prayers of life. May you also, our brother, receive healing...
Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen....
