Tomorrow there will be a memorial service at the University of Alberta for 4 young RCMP officers who were murdered during a police intervention. Please remember in your prayers: Anthony Gordon, Leo Johnson, Brock Myrol and Peter Scheimann. May they find peace and joy for all eternity with our Father, the Son and Holy Spirit.
Remember also those families who grieve for these young men and pray that they will be strong and comforted in the knowledge that their husbands, sons and fathers rest in Gods Grace forever.

Over the last week we have had a few tragic events.
The killing of 4 RCMP officers.
A father throwing his 5 year old daughter over a highway bridge - then killing himself (thankfully the girl survived)
and just yesterday a man set himself on fire in front of our Provincial Government buildings as a protest.
Most Holy Mother of God, Pray for us.

Yes, the fellow who lit himself on fire did this just outside where I am right now.
He is now in the hospital down the street from my home.
