Glory to God for all things!

Dear friends,

Please remember my father, Harry, in your prayers. He is in the ICU suffering from pneumonia. I prayed the rosary with him yesterday. I thought that he was unconscious and placed his rosary in his hands. When I had to leave I tried to take the rosary from him and he opened his eyes and did not want to let go!

His favorite saints include St. Anthony of Padua, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, Our Lady Seeker of the Lost, and St. Josaphat of Polatsk.

My unworthy prayers for your father, Harry, and for your family during this time.

By the intercessions of His Holy Unmercenaries, Sts. Cosmas and Damianos, and the prayers of St. Panteleimon, may Christ our God grant him a swift recovery!

Prayer to Our Lady, Health and Strength of the Sick

Virgin, most holy, Mother of the Word Incarnate, Treasurer of graces, and Refuge of sinners, I fly top your motherly affection with lively faith, and I beg of you the grace ever to do the will of God.

Into your most holy hands I commit the keeping of my heart, asking you for health of soul and body for the Servant of God, Harry, in the certain hope that you, my most loving Mother, will hear my prayer.

Into the bosom of your tender mercy, this day, every day of my life, and at the hour of my death, I commend my soul and body and the soul and body of Harry.

To you I entrust all my hopes and consolations, all my trials and miseries, my life and the end of my life, that all my actions may be ordered and disposed according to your will and that of your Divine Son. Amen.

IN the mighty name of Jesus, we speak healing into his lungs, let all the fluid leave that place and the restoration of his breathing occur naturally by the mighty hand of God that all congestion is brought out with little stress to his lungs and the doctors will know Christ is present in this world.
