...your posted intentions are in my prayers.

Please pray for my aunt, Theresa, who is 86 and in and out of the hospital.

Please pray for Dieter, who died recently - and for his parents, sister and family in mourning.

Lord Jesus Christ, during your life you were surrounded by suffering and you eliminated it whenever you could. Look down on this suffering handmaid,Theresa and alleviate her suffering. Help the sick in body, especially those terminally ill, and the sick at heart who are weary of life. Come to the aid of those victimized by war or by their uncaring neighbors. Encourage those who suffer discrimination because of race, creed or color, because of their poverty, ignorance or different lifestyle. Free those who are oppressed and feed those who are hungry. Inspire in me a firm desire to cooperate with you in this liberation of the downtrodden. Let me be open to others, to love them in you and to share with them what I am and have. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, The Lord and our Savior. Amen.

May Christ, our true God, (Who has risen from the dead), Who rules over the living and the dead, through the prayers of His most pure Mother, of the holy, glorious and illustrious apostles, of our venerable and God-bearing Fathers, and of all Saints, place the soul of His departed servant DIETER in the abode of the Saints, and number him among the just, and have mercy on us, for He is gracious and loves mankind.

Grant to the family of Your newly departed servant Dieter, an increase in faith and hope and may they feel your abiding presence in their midst, we ask this also in Your Most Holy Name, You Who live and reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit now and ever and unto ages of ages, Amen.

With sympathy and my poor prayers,
+Father Archimandrite Gregory

+Father Archimandrite Gregory, who asks for your holy prayers!
