In your charity, please pray for a co-worker and her family.
My co-worker cared for her mom at home until Alzheimer's made first a day placement and then a skilled nursing home necessary. After a hospitalization, her mom entered a semi-vegetative state. The family (which has not been all of one heart & mind, tho' things seem to be getting better) will be having mom's feeding tube removed tomorrow. She will likely die in the next few days.
Please pray for all concerned, including my co-worker's son, who has been doing marvelously well in recovery, and who is taking his grandmother's impending death hard.
