Fr. Kimmel, who posted here as Perichoresis and developed the blog "Pontifications", has announced his intention to resign from the Episcopal Church and enter into full communion with the Roman Catholic Church. As his journey continues, please remember him in your prayers, with his family and his parishioners.

May the Holy Spirit continue to guide Fr. Kimmel and his family. Many years to him, his wife and family. And since he is considering requesting ordination to the priesthood - he might consider other faculties. smile

May God bless Father Alvin and his family and let us pray for his priesthood as that is what he states he wishes to do. (I was not aware of that 'pontificatons' and thank you for supplying the link, djs).
I do not recall that screen name but I certainly recall Father Alvin - I thought he just posted as 'Father Al' or 'Father Alvin' or 'Father Kimel'.

Prayers for Father Alvin and his family as he pursues his decision to enter communion with the Catholic Church.

May our dear Lord throw open wide the gates for the Kimmels to have a safe journey home to his Church. Lord please put others in thier path that understand what they will be going through in this time of joy and suffering. May they live in your peace trusting totally in Divine Providence for their lives.
