I am not one of God's most socially adept creatures. I was reminded of this when several of you sent me private messages asking how my recovery from pneumonia is coming along. I have been remiss and I apologize.
I thank you for your prayers for my recovery. I thank God that He has seen fit to bring it about.
I was acutely aware of your care during my illness which is now exhibited by getting tired more quickly that is usual.
I am most grateful for you all. I can use your conntinued prayers since I am a sinner in need of healing.
You and yours are in my continuing prayers. Thank God, He even listens to sinners.
Thank you!

Dear Inawe,
I'm glad to hear that you are recovering.
Have you received the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick?
I have received the anointing twice for a chronic illness. I still suffer from the illness, but I received inner strengthening. With this I am propelled day by day.
I am grateful to Jesus Christ and the priest who anointed me.
Sincerely,
Paul

Inawe,
I hope you feel better, and the annointing will boost you in many ways as Paul stated.

Dear Steve,
Continued prayers for you...
O You who in all times and places are worshipped and glorified, both in heaven and on earth, Christ God, long-suffering, generous in mercy and rich in compassion, loving to the just and merciful to the sinner.
O You who call men to repentance through the promise of blessings to come: deign, O Lord, at this very hour to receive our supplications and to direct our lives in the way of your commandments.
Sanctify our souls, purify our bodies, set our minds aright, cleanse our thoughts; deliver us from all affliction, wrath, danger and need; surround us with your holy angels so that, guided and guarded in their camp we may reach the faith and the knowledge of your unutterable glory, O You who are blessed forever and ever!
Amen
Michael
