Dear Chtec,

Dicsrtessk a Jzus Krisztus! - Mindrkk! men

Yes, this is truly an awesome collection.

I cannot translate all the Hungarian, but if you go to
http://www.mariapoch.org/ancestors/
and tab through all the next page tabs, the information presented in English is very similar. In particular, last December is the 100th anniversary of the last weeping of the icon. The Eparchy of Parma is now scheduling the visitation of the Mariapoch Icon in parishes for the celebration of this event and veneration by the faithful.

May you have a most blessed Great Fast.

Are they bringing over from Europe one of the two Mariapocs icons, or are they using a replica as a "pilgrim icon"?

It would be great to see the icon come to the US!

I will be in Mariapocs in April for quite awhile. If anyone wants prints of the icon, please let me know and I will pick one up for you and send it on when I return.

Thanks!

I didn't realize it when I initially posted the Mariapocs section, but the main site (http://bucsujaras.hu) has an entire section of photos of Greek Catholic churches and shrines. Just click on the links in the left-hand column under "Grgkatolikus kegyhelyek."

For example, here is their section on Klokocov:

http://bucsujaras.hu/klokocso/index.html

And Krasny Brod:

http://bucsujaras.hu/laborcrev/index.html

This is by far the best online photo collection of Carpatho-Rusyn Marian shrines that I've seen to date!
