that there have been a significant number of posts in the past month or so from members with unfamiliar nicks who, on closer examination, show registration dates anywhere from a year to four years ago, but who haven't posted at any time in recent memory? I, for one, think it's a wonderful thing - especially since not all of their posts have been precipitated by concerns about proposed liturgical revisions in the Pittsburgh Metropolia. Welcome back to all who have transitioned from lurking to posting Many years, Neil

Many years,
Neil Hi Neil, I have not been here because there was some kind of new construction going on that was incompatible with my linux system. Then when I tried to get back on I had missplaced my password and finally my computer was affected by a lightning strike which wiped out all my bookmarks. I wonder if anyone else was affected by that new construction here? I've noticed a lot of new buttons here - and am trying to figure it all out. Most importantly I am finished with my finals and this was the toughest semester I've had in college with a lot of senior research and clinical observations. Now I am back. YSIC, Elizabeth Christ is Risen!

Neil:
I am one of those who "have transitioned from lurking to posting". I had a toe in the water before finally taking the plunge. Attending the Divine Liturgy in St. Louis, where there were 9 Latins (including the Priest and me) and 3 Byzantines, convinced me to come aboard.

JP, Welcome to the Forum, it's always good to have another Irishman here - particularly one of the noble lineage of DeBurgo . Many years, Neil, of the line of DeBurgo by his maternal grandmother, of blessed memory
