During Patriarch Husar's visit to Canada, I've noticed something very peculiar.
On Friday, Feb.7th, after the Moleben in honor of Blessed Nykita Budka, there will be wine and cheese served at the Cathedral Hall.
On Saturday Feb.8th after the Divine Liturgy which will be celebrated at 5:00pm, once again wine and cheese will be served at the parish hall.
Now is this because Patriarch Husar loves wine and cheese or is it because Ukie Canadians in Winnipeg can't cook.
Just curious,
Lauro

Dear Lauro,

I think that was a misprint - it should read "WHINE and Cheese" smile

St Nikita Budka was the Bishop at Winnipeg - our Orthodox people do not have fond memories of him for one reason or another.
