An interesting article, especially where it quotes Archbishop Fulton Sheen.

I found the article on www.spiritdaily.com [spiritdaily.com]

I liked the article, thanks Pani Rose. I seriously believe that the Muslims will not convert until we have true unity in with all the Apostolic Churches in Communion with each other. (I know, I've written this many times before!)

Dear Pani Rose,

Thanks for the ariticle!

Although I do believe that the Muslims will convert, for surely it must be God's Will... yet they themselves do not think so. That they go to Portugal and Spain, is rather because they believe that Allah intended for those lands to be theirs. It's a frightening situation for those countries, because I recall reading that not only are the Saudi's buying land like mad in Spain, but the 'elite' in Jordan believe that they were kicked out unjustly, and that they are the true descendants of those countries. They believe that Islam evolved from the Arian heresy that was prevalent in those parts. confused

Bishop Sheen, and the whole world actually, would never have perceived the Muslims as having the power to conquer the world, since in that day and age, power could only exist through one's military strength...and certainly the Muslims did not have that, nor would have ever been able to be more powerful in that respect than the West, and especially the U.S.

But then again, here we are the 'new' Roman Empire, and after all, they did manage to conquer the last one...in the East at least. I guess their hopes are up high. eek eek eek

You got it, Zenovia... once a land has been under the control of the Muslims, it is forever considered [by them] to be rightfully theirs... a part of Dar al Islam.

The Catholic writer Hilliare Belloc was warning us that Islam would rise again back in the 1930's. eek

God bless,

Karen
