Hi Sam,

Yes, that is my icon, which is my absolute favorite in the world. It is also a special icon in that its history miraculously bridges the East with the West. smile

Sincerely in Christ,
Alice

Dear Sam,

Could you plese tell me what your beautiful and looooong Latin moniker/name means-- all I can discern in the beautiful Latin is 'ecclesia' which I know means church.

Thanks! smile

Sincerely in Christ,
Alice

sure. It means "Outside the church there is no Salvation". Its a defined Catholic Dogma.

Dear Incognitus,

I did a quick 'google' search and found this:

The phat in phatmass stands for Preaching Holy Apostolic Truth. The website was built in 2000 as a personal act of penance, but it has evolved into much more than that. Phatmass is now a community of orthodox Catholics attempting to create a cultural movement within the Church. This is a truly "Gen X" site, with good graphics, great design, and excellent material.

Regards,
Alice

Welcome, and thanks for the info about phatmass.

Here I was, thinking it was a group of overindulgent clergy who think highly of themselves. :p
