My site now has working background music again on the front page, now the news links page. The Russian music may sound familiar - I know I've sung it in church occasionally.

Funny you should mention music...Do you happen to have the words to the Olde Saint Nicholas Song?

I am Byzantine Catholic, but stuck in the Roman Church b/c my husband is Roman...its a long story. I am taking every chance I get to add the Byzantine influence. I teach first graders who have parents that don't believe they should take their kids to liturgy every Sunday. Anyway, with St Nick's Feastday around the corner, I would like to teach them the song, but I only know it in Old Slavonic....Can you help?

Thanks,
Monica

Dear Monica,

The words to the Ruthenian St Nicholas song, both in the original language (in both Russian and Slovak script) and in English translation, are on my site:

http://oldworldrus.com -> Faith -> Santa Claus is Greek

They're at the bottom of the page.
