I think these folks are saying because there is not community in the church, horizontal and vertical, is the reason sexual abuse is happening in the Pentecostal Churches.

Interesting article. I suspect the intense emotional experience fades, then the "believer" has to look for a new high, kind of like a "grace" junkie. It's faith totally without reason. However, I suspect some of the major Pentecostal ministers who have fallen were frauds to begin with. The PTL ministry was awash in fraud and big bucks, not to mention mascara. wink
