GLORY TO JESUS CHRIST!

Enquiring minds want to know who that man with the St.Nicholas beard and black klobuk & bishop's walking staff was at the Capitol yesterday?

Can anyone identify him??

I know that Archbishop Demetrios of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese was there and very visibly seated at the back, next to the aisle.

I don't know if he is who you meant.

Metropolitan Herman of the OCA was also there, but sitting farther from the aisle, not as visible.

His Eminence William Cardinal Keeler, Archbishop of Baltimore was present and offered a prayer.
I wondered what the Orthodox Hierarchs were thinking when a woman "Reverend" offered a prayer. Was this all in the mind of Martin Luther or Henry VIII? confused

Dear Father Silouan, +EVLOGITE PATER! As my mom (who was a very conservative daily communicant) once said to me (when I was 'poo pooing' women clergy)---"Well Gregg, they could do any worse than the men I've seen!" wink Thanks be to God, the Lord listens to all of our prayers...and especially those that come from a broken and contrite heart!

A blessed Sunday to you Father!

In Christ,
Your poor brother,
+Fr. Gregory

+Father Archimandrite Gregory, who asks for your holy prayers!
