I'm usually NOT a fan of music videos (even the Beatles "Hard Days Night") but I can't help the guilty pleasures of Wierd Al.

This song is such a hoot...especially if you tend to be a napster.

How Ironic that it ended up on youtube which probably infringed on the copyright unless "Weird Al" posted it himself.

I think the same goes for bands who perform songs on stage. Technically, a band is supposed to pay a royalty to the artist who wrote the song. shocked I must have infringed on literally thousands of copyrights when I was in my bands! shocked

Is it pathetic that Kirk and Picard are ACTUALLY mounted side-by-side on the wall above my bed? biggrin Not to worry, my icons and crucifix get the windowsill...

Kirk when facing a Klingon Warrior:
"You'll never take me alive!"

Picard when facing the same Klingon Warrior:
"Thou impertinent spur-galled flirt-gill! Thou puking folly-fallen foot-licker! Thou leathern-jerkin, crystal-button, knot-pated, agatering, puke-stocking, caddis-garter, smooth-tongue, Klingon pouch!"

Kirk kicks butt. Picard overwhelms his enemies with syllables.

Ok - back to prayer... biggrin wink :p

Dr Eric

All copyright infringement regarding musical performers in taverns etc is covered under the establishment's entertainment licensing fee.

Dear Dr. Eric,

YouTube is no longer in the infringement business, they recently signed licensing agreements with Warner Bros., Sony BMG, Universal, and CBS. So now we can enjoy that video and no longer feel the guilt of "material cooperation."

You could not have possibly made up that overwhelming mound of verbosity. I demand to know where all that came from. biggrin
