there would be NO...<<what?>>

you complete the sentance. Only one anwser is allowed. You may repeat an answer of a previous post. Answers can be uplifting, funny, spiritual, or otherwise positive.

Just wanted to throw this out there as a little game to lighten up the day, and see what kind of responces would be posted. I'm feeling a little down today about the state of the world, so I thought it would be fun to see how you guys/gals might correct things, if you could change just one thing.

Thanks for playing along. smile

disrespect.

Would fix a lot of things if everyone showed proper respect to God, the world, human life, marriage, and each other. I can't think of much of anything it wouldn't fix except for the suffering from illness and famine, but even much of that would be reduced as people showed more respect for sustainable farming and each other's time and responsibilities. People would spend more time at home then, with their families, and without much of the stress of today.

I definitely could live without disrespect.

Ceiling fans, shrink wrapped CD's, teenage boys who feel obligated to wear their pants around their knees presenting their underwear for inspection, women with tattoos and junk mail.

Religion justifying violence: gone as people respect God, the role of religion, and the lives of others.

Barney: gone as producers respect our ears and intelligence.

Shrink wrapped CD's: gone. Don't need the protection anymore when everyone respects other's property and doesn't steal.

Teenage boys who feel obligated to wear their pants around their knees presenting their underwear for inspection: gone as the boys learn to respect themselves, everyone else, and clothing norms.

Women with tattoos: well, that one could be argued if it is disrespectful. Decreased, at least.

Junk mail: gone as people respect your privacy, time, and the environment.

Those ceiling fans, I can't help you with, though.

In a perfect world the postman would realize that no one named "occupant" lives in a private house, and would return all mail so addressed to the sender, at the sender's expense.

laws allowing our minor children to obtain an abortion or birth control, and without parental knowledge. God protect our children from the caregivers that are forced to provide this upon the child's request, or even offer it on their own.

Untalented yobbos and pretentious gits with guitars polluting the airwaves...oh, wait, grunge has gone and died already.

Well then, everything from the vapid mainstream since good old-school speed/thrash and N.W.O.B.H.M. breathed their last, I would have to say.

2nd answer: horrible linguistic abortions endemic and running wild in common-day speech and exported everywhere through media channels.

3rd answer: celebrities and celebrity worship.

I wouldn't tempt one with those sorts of questions. It encourages one's sour side often to surface.

LOL!! 2 inches of my height is accumulated scar tissue after decades of being assaulted by pernicious ceiling fans! We don't need gun control, we need fan control! Ceiling fans were designed by the same twisted minds that developed the spikes on the chariot wheels in Ben Hur, with the same results!

Alexandr, who isn't trying to be disrespectful when he wears a hard hat in your house!
