My humble thanks to my dear brother and friend, John, both for giving us this place and for his faith in my ability to do this task, which I shall try to do well.

I have to say that I am very honored. The Mod ranks here were always a particularly august body and that has only become the more so with the additions made in the time I was away, particularly Alice, Bob, and Father Anthony (not to take anything from the other new Mods, just that I don't know them as I do these three).

And I thank my brothers and sisters, most especially those whom I feel I have known for so long, for your kind words. May God grant to all of you many years in health, happiness, and peace - and please keep me in your prayers.

Neil
