Sorry, just take "jeden kto" out.

Prebachte!

Ungcsertezs (hope I didn't offend anybody by listing this "unofficial, para-liturgical hymn".) wink

Actually it is nice tradition that the Eastern Christians maintained, but seems to be lost in the west entirely now a days.

Also for those interested there is a website devoted exclusively to Saint Nicholas:
Saint Nicholas Website [stnicholascenter.org]

In IC XC,
Father Anthony+ (A devotee of Saint Nicholas)

Everyone baptized into Christ should pass progressively through all the stages of Christ's own life, for in baptism he receives the power so to progress, and through the commandments he can discover and learn how to accomplish such progression. - Saint Gregory of Sinai

Glory to Jesus Christ!

Does anyone know a place online where there is an audio recording of the Slavonic translation of this hymn?

A few more stanzas:

O kto, kto k nemu pribhajet,
Na pomoshch jeho prizyvajet,
V nem imjet shchit okhrannyj
Ot zmijnykh poruhanij,
Nikolaj, Nikolaj!

O pastyr' slovesnaho stada!
Izbav nas ot hibely ada.
Sokhrani nas ot lvoj,
Chast' da primem na pravoj,
Nikolaj, Nikolaj!

Nikolaj imja narochito,
Pobzhdajaj tezoimenito;
Pobzhdajaj Aharjany,
Okhranjajaj Khristijany,
Nikolaj, Nikolaj.

And one in Ukrainian:

Omofor tvij nam oborona
I odna vid bid okhorona.
Nedajzhe marno propasty
Boroham u ruky pasty,
Nikolaje, Nikolaj!

I Have the CD of the Tradtional Byzantine Hymns sung by a Choir from PA. I believe you can still order it. It has O KTO KTO on it along with all the Byzantine Christmas songs sung in Slovak and in English.
