Aloha Ohana,

I just could not figure out whether this is humane way to die or not. It remind me Terri Schiavo again.... but the different is that Terri Schiavo was killed by starvation ...but on this article is a coup plotters. I do think that
no matter what the sin.....no one should die with starvation or other inhumanely . I pray for anyone anywhere ....who are deprive with food and medicine need. Blessed are you merciful...for you shall obtain mercy. I just hope that my post this time is more charitable and prayerful....

African coup plotters 'face slow death in jail'

Amnesty says cell-bound prisoners are not getting sufficient food or medicines

Belinda du Toit is close to tears when she describes the letter she received from her mercenary husband Nick a few days ago, sent from inside Equatorial Guinea's notorious Black Beach prison, where he is held for his role in a coup plot.
'He says he is so thin that he looks like a grain of rice. He says it is only the thought of his family that is keeping him going.'

What, specifically, do you "question"? These people are not people which the State has condemned to death, but in some cases are people who have not been convicted. Not only is your post overly flippant about such things, as I assume that your question about it being a more humane way to die simply HAD to be in jest, but it is not a kind thing to compare it to the case of Terry Schiavo. The deliberate torture by neglect of prisoners is something that has been done for centuries and by all countries, and it is deplorable.

Gaudior, who is starting to wish that you would consider the impact of your posts before making them.

I agree.... I felt the same way. This kind of inhumanely to die is definetely barbaric . I am disgusted with it and I wonder why some people still living in the past . That is something I dont understand. Terri Schiavo case is definetely different but it is also a torture on starvation.
