Dear Friends,

Today marks a special day in the life of our brother, Mor Ephrem.

It is on this day that I formally incardinated him as "Catholicos of New Orleans, Louisiana and the entire Southeastern U.S."

And this on condition that he try to frequently wear the colours of Mardi Gras, green, yellow and purple.

For those who are absolutely baffled by all this, we once had a thread about all the "independent" orders and titles on the internet and then started to consecrate one another in all kinds of interesting jurisdictions . . .

Many Years to the Catholicos, Mor Ephrem!!

Our Oriental Orthodox brother, friend and spiritual giant!

Alex

Dear Pentha,

Well, in order to get consecrated, Phil had to click on his mouse three times, kiss it, and then recite the oath while kneeling before his computer screen at the same time as I spiritually anointed him with my hands over my screen . . .

Phil isn't the only one who needs prayers, it would seem . . .

Dear Alex,

Thank you very much, but I hear this Catholicos may have some new competition... :p
