The "Krylos" ensemble of Sts. Volodymyr and Olha Parish in Chicago is pleased to announce the release of its CD entitled:
"Krylos - Liturgical Hymns of the Great Fast and Holy Week."
The CD features Galician and Kyivan chants as well as some composed works by Bortnyansky, sung in either Ukrainian or Old Slavonic. Selections include "By the Creeks of Babylon," the Irmosy of the Great Cannon of St. Andrew of Crete and "The Wise Thief."
