Admin, this is an appeal to have "Churchwork" taken from the board. It is my opinion that we have taken his abuse for long enough. He is clearly in violation of several board rules that he agreed to in order to join the forum, including: You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use The Byzantine Forum to post any material which is unchristian, knowingly false and/or defamatory, accusatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law. From Churchwork "you are a willing participant in the great harlot of religious Rome" God calls the byzantine RCC the great harlot of religious Rome The dumbness has degraded too far. Ok, how many times has he broken this rule?: Please also note that, if you are registering simply to post an advertisement to another site, you may do so only in one forum and may choose between the News or Town Hall forums to make your announcement. Those posting the same information in multiple forums will lose posting privleges and will be banned. And then there is this quote from his recent post: Those near deliverance, come see me. Those that are not anywhere near deliverance from the great harlot of religious Rome, stay here at byzcath. This does not even include the multiple times that he has called members possessed! These people are far from it, they are genuine, they are loved by our community, to me it is a slap in my face to have them defamed as to be called possessed! Need we take any more abuse ??? Please, this has gone on long enough. In His Name, Stephen

Second the motion!
Gaudior, who thinks that although keeping him here to rant is to HIS benefit, he has continually abused that privilege.

If you click on the homepage in his profile, you will find these rules:
3. These sects of Christianity are not allowed: RCC (great harlot of "religious Rome"), ECC (playing the middle of the fence), Eastern Orthodox (constantine high tower), Pentecostals (false tongues), Baptists (legalized baptism), Presbyterians (annihilators), Reformist Calvinists (pride of believing they were premade for salvation), Local Church (central hub locality and modalism doublespeak), Anglican (a nation church). These cults are not allowed: Mormons (God is gods), Christadelphians (Jesus is not God), non-OSASers (no faith in OSAS). If you are near to any of these groups, you are not welcome here; though some persons may be saved in them, that is the exception, not the rule. Also doctrinally, no historicalists (ammill. post-mill., preterism, partial preterism), no antinomianism (accepting substitution, but no codeath identification), and no bipartite fallen man teachings. Many other things not mentioned, ought to be obvious to Christians.

Dear Brothers and Sisters:
Rather than ban "churchwork" from the Forum, why not apply a good old-fashioned "shunning" (i.e, just ignore his posts). The only reason "churchwork" continues to post is due to the responses to those posts. Once he realizes he no longer has an audience he'll move on to another forum.

Father Deacon,
We seem to have tried this before, and it failed. I suggest that having biopsied the cancer in question, we surgically remove it, rather than hope it shrinks with other forms of treatment. Troy IS poisoning the whole, here. I agree he should be removed.

I fifth or sixth this motion or whatever. i am finding it hard to be a good Catholic and to keep my cool and be sane at the same time. I don't like it when my faith is attacked or questioned and I absolutely never give up on arguements. Let's restore peace to our friendly forum. I mean its Christmas time for Pete's sake. -Katie g

I seventh the motion! I really do think that we have had enough of his pontificating and nonsense. I have tried to politely engage Churchwork/Troy, but he speaks PAST people, not TO people. He has called people here possessed and evil, and quite frankly, I think that his ignorance and arrogance have been nothing short of ridiculous and silly. How sad! Alice, of the "Constantine High Tower" LOL!

I'm normally pretty mild-mannered. You have to do something drastic to get me riled. Churchwork/Troy has crossed that line.
It's time for him to be on his way.

I agree with the motion as well. I have the utmost respect for the administrator, and believe he's done a very commendable job of moderating the forum, but right now it appears that Churchwork is the first poster in memory who's been given carte blanche to condemn and insult the religious beliefs of forum members. Allowing such an individual to continue in his tirades reflects very badly on the Byzantine Forum.
