With the Bus retiring and the QB getting injured and with the Colts letting their running back go it looks like Seattle has about wrapped it up, once they get past DA BEARS.

Hope he recovers fully...and be more the wiser.

Ben was raveling westbound on Second Avenue. There is an intersection where the Armstrong Tunnels and the Tenth Street Bridge intersect Second Avenue. A driver from out of state (supposedly Maine) was trying to turn left from the southern portal of the Armstrong Tunnel. The driver pulled into the intersection, and Roethlisberger hit the car, flipping over the handlebars. Roethlisberger suffered multiple injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital.
Roethlisberger refused to wear a helmet while riding his motorcycle.
As for the Seahawks - they did lose Hutchison and Jurevicius. I don't think they make the playoffs if they played in the AFC.

PA should never should have lifted the helmet law. Big Ben will be lucky to see another season.

Hasn't he also broke an agreement with the coach that he would not ride during certain parts of the year?

Big Ben was riding a road racer type cycle...instead of his Harley...the rider positions are quite different,so is the bike structure & weight...maybe things might have been different, but why use a brain bucket if you don't have any...

Roethlisberger may be discharged in three to five days, according to Mercy Hospital. He underwent seven hours of surgery on Monday evening. According to the spokeman, he had no serious or significant injuries in his abdomen, his neck, his back, his arms or his legs.
Whether he will play football or not this year is something nobody knows right now. Roethlisberger refused to wear a helmet, even after being asked to by Coach Bill Cowher and Steelers management.
Maybe now he will give up the bike for a while.

Here's a fact To ride without a helmet in the Commonwealth of PA -you have to be 21 years old -have a motorcycle license for at least 2 years or, have passed the safety course. The learner's permit is like 16 dollars (was last year). You can't carry passengers and you have to wear a helmet, and you can't drive after dark.

There probably isn't a bigger Steeler fan here than me, but it begs to be pointed out that Roethlisberger does not possess a valid motorcycle driver's license. Therefore, he must be made to "face up" (no pun intended) to his violation of traffic laws.

Mr. Clean, my points exactly, he probably has a permit, which means he has to wear a helmet. Probably the standard 116.50 fine or whatever it is (it's a 25 dollar fine with all those taxes).

YES!
And they think he will start the season. Bet he doesn't ride a motorcycle or a horse for that matter for a long time.
I bet tickets went back up that $100 that they fell.
