Dear Milicia
Please do not give up on America or allow fear or anger to drive you from your home. Sometimes people are foolish, and all of us struggle with sin, every where. But please don't give up. I praise God for the courage that your family has and I hope to learn to love God as much as your husband and your family does.
In prayer for you
Michele

This is Milica again! When I grew up before communism fell, we all got along, Serbs, Croats and Muslims, then when communism was no more, nobody gets along, my friends of other faiths, we don't see each other. I as a wife and my husband would not want me to do this, I beg all who read this: my husband is outside in the dark with a prayer rope and incense, he's hole where his tooth was knocked out today has been bleeding and I am asking all people even if you do not agree with me and my husband to pray for him, he will not sleep tonight, it's not different than when he's in the house, when the night comes, his war gets bad, I mean flashbacks from the Balkans War. Fr. Elias is staying with us tonight, he was with my husband about 45 minutes ago, when Father came in, he told me my husband will be o.k. Father said God is with him and St. Seraphim and he has no idea what other saints might be with my husband. It is cold here, Fr. Elias reminded me that my husband was trained to ignore the cold and he is sure he will be alright. My husband is against those who follow Islam and use it as an excuse or reason to kill, he is not against those who follow Islam and do not want to be part of the fundamentalism that only TV reports. I am doubting my own faith and my mama and Fr. Elias and I will be up all night also. My husband is a very, very strong and patient man, I know him and his stress level is at a bad point, no, he didn't come on here this evening. His son, James asked his father to delete this forum and another that he was invited by PM by a very nice Christian. Please pray for understand among all peoples, I remember seeing a photo of Pope John Paul the Great (yes, I'm Orthodox) I see the Pope venerate the Holy Quaran in a photograph. My husband searches his heart tonight for answers and peace and prays for as many people as he can! Fr. Elias asked my husband today "who prays for you, Seraphim?" He said my husband smiled with a tooth missing and said, "Never thought about it Fr. Elias, I seem to be more of a trouble maker and I doubt many would pray for me Father!" Fr. Elias said he reminded my Seraphim of a trouble maker who was crucified over 2000 years ago because he told the truth! Good night and may God bless all of us! Milica.

My prayers are with you, as I have experienced those that can't erase the horrors they have seen in war. I have criedwith and held those that have seen things I never wish to repeat. Let us never forget war is horrible, for both sides. For the end result is always bad.. for those who fought it and for those who have to spend a lifetime comforting their loved ones and trying to ease their pain.
