A wonderful poem (actually a fragment of a much longer poem), written by the English poet Christoper Smart 1722-1771 about his cat Jeoffry. It is included his work Jubilate Agno, written while an inmate in an insane asylum. I would paste it here, but because of it's length and possible copyright infringement, here's a link. Don
