Metropolitan Mojsej was consecrated by the folks at http://www.uaoc.org. Their website includes some information about him. I am not exactly sure why they parted ways. Dave

I did. It is very interesting. I am looking for a bit more than that though.

Dave Yes, I knew that. I am just wondering how they all fit in in the scheme of things in Ukraine.

Tony, It looks as though they're back to the 4 competing Churches versus the 3 that it had reduced to after the UAOC-S decided to reconcile or recognize (or whatever they chose to call it) the UAOC. According to one report, think it was in late spring of this year, he garnered a dozen priests from one of the other jurisdictions. Originally posted by chtec: I am not exactly sure why they parted ways. Dave, I don't recollect seeing anything definitive about why he and the UAOC-S parted company; it goes back to late last year. But, I felt at the time that he took umbrage at the UAOC-S decision to throw its support behind the UAOC, versus going forward independently in Ukraine. As I speculated back then, I think he felt as though he was being displaced. See: Metropolitan Moisei of Kyiv Many years, Neil

"Met" Moses doesn't seem to have a real Church in Ukraine. Add to the fact that the article describes ordinations being done "sub conditione" and one realizes we have left the land of Ukrainian Orthodoxy and entered...

The KP and the UOAC-Cleveland both have accused him of some sort of theological errors; I have always wondered what they meant.
Also, I find it peculiar that Met. Mojsej has his cathedral in Uhorod...

Obvious: they have chosen separate roads to Heaven!
