But once again, Dr. Eric, that chart is coming out of an organization called "One More Soul", which I don't consider an unbiased source. If what you're saying is true, that there's a link between couples using NFP and having a lower divorce rate, it should show up in all sorts of surveys and studies, not just those coming out of Catholic sources.
It should be so obvious that even nonbelievers would say, "Hey, I still don't believe all that Catholic NFP stuff, but it's still kind of impressive that they have a lower divorce rate when they use it."
If the only sources saying that NFP causes fewer divorces are sources
recommending NFP, then I'd rather you just say, "NFP is the right thing to do because the Church teaches it," rather than saying, "NFP is the right thing to do because it's scientifically proven to result in fewer divorces."
And just to bring this back around to the original post in this thread, it's worth considering that homosexuals don't use artificial birth control, so perhaps that's not the best measure of whether gay marriage is right or wrong.
