I'm sorry to have posted profanity, I don't know what I was thinking. Thanks for fixing the words!

Don't worry about it Lasha. We know that you meant no harm.

It is very hard for your generation to discern what is appropriate and what is not because the boundaries are so blurred.

I am sometimes shocked that there are no censors or rules against profanity on many legitimate and otherwise respected internet sites where people post and/or respond. frown

Dear Lasha,

I agree with Alice, it was not your intent to offend. I use as a rule of thumb, not to post anything that has words that would not be appropriate to be said aloud in Church. This way it should cut down on these kinds of incidents. Wishing you the best.

Everyone baptized into Christ should pass progressively through all the stages of Christ's own life, for in baptism he receives the power so to progress, and through the commandments he can discover and learn how to accomplish such progression. - Saint Gregory of Sinai

I have no idea of what transpired here, but let me say that when it comes to a generation's idea of what is appropriate as far as language is concerned, there is no new thing under the sun. every generation is responsible for the next one coming up, and we of older generations need to show better examples to the younger ones.
Much Love,
Jonn

Our daughter, now 23, speaking of some of the 'new' music, said some of my friends really like the stuff. You know mom, every generation rebells against the music of the previous generation.

OH I had to laugh under my breath. The wisdom of a 23 year old. biggrin Only this one is really gifted with wisdom and counsel. But, I really thought it was such a marvelous statement coming from one so young.

But, then maybe it is just me, a prould mom. wink
