Many opinions have been expressed concerning the relationship between Muslims, Christians, and Jews over the years I've been on this forum. Some seem to suggest that they know people on this forum who think Muslims who murder others ought to be killed themselves. I've never noticed anyone suggesting this but some posters seem certain that other posters believe this. Some seem to suggest that if we ignore radical Muslims they will either go away or will not bother us. Some suggest that we should cooperate where we can and ignore Muslim adherents when we can't. Others believe that we should seek to convert Muslims when we can. There may be other options as well. So How should we view and what should we do about Muslims?

If you choose the "other" option please explain.

Frankly of the three polls this is the one that most interests me. I hope more respond to this one.

My "other" vote is to remember Lapanto and the rc feast of 'Our Lady of the Rosary', where through the intercession of the Immaculate Mother of God, the Moslems were defeated by the Italian Navy and driven back to Africa. So I and many others pray the Rosary each day for 'World Peace' and the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary! God has promised this "Peace" at Fatima, through our prayers! There is a lot more to this, so check out my web site: www.deaconjohn.org. [deaconjohn.org.]

Father Deacon,

I would tend to categorize "praying for" and working toward "the conversion of" as being in the same category, but I can easily see your point as well. Certainly God is greatly glorified through our surrender in conversion yet He is glorified in many other ways as well. Even Cyrus was a Messiah.

Since some posters have some questions about my intentions with this poll let me volunteer how I voted. I voted for options 3 and 4; "Seek to convert persons to Christianity" and "Cooperate with peaceable Muslims and ignore the rest." It is neither practical nor justified given our Christian faith to go to war with the intent of eliminating all Muslims. It wouldn't work and we'd not be pleasing Jesus.
