Dear Anamchristi,
Perhaps that cat was a witch?

Deadly cat, deadly cat What are they feeding you? Deadly cat, deadly cat It's not your fault They won't take you to the priest You're obviously not their favourite beast You may not be a sweet little kitten And all your friends have been severely bitten [Parody of Chrissie Hynde\'s "Smelly Cat" [ friendsplace.com] , by your own Theist Gal ]

Dear Dolly,
I have the "Pet Network" on my TV package and I saw one program where a group of liberal Jews were holding "Bark-mitzvahs!"
They actually put a yarmulka on the dog's head and draped a prayer shawl over him. They then all danced around singing "Howa Nagila."

Alex Hi Alex - - I actually have a friend who makes "doggie lingerie" (don't ask!) and has also made those yarmulkas and prayer shawls for dogs!

David Berkowitz The Son of Sam made similar claims about a dog.

The jury did not seem to be impressed by the defense story. Sadly, there was more to the story. The man was perhaps haunted by his past as a cat killer. A man who talked about his cat having special powers was convicted Wednesday of first-degree murder in the Jan. 24, 2004, shooting death of a friend.
Clayton Butsch, 40, of Lake Stevens stands to spend between 38 and 50 years in prison after a Snohomish County Superior Court jury found him guilty. ...
... This is the second time Butsch has been convicted of a crime involving a cat. In 1995, he was sentenced to prison for intimidating a witness and animal cruelty. He roasted a woman's kitten in an oven as it shrieked and tried to claw its way out, court documents say. http://www.heraldnet.com/stories/05/11/03/100loc_akiller001.cfm

Dear John:
So, can we say safely now that the man, not the cat, has a pre-existing condition? :p
Amado
(Still wondering if the cat was black?)
