Dr Eric do any of those snakes look that old to you? biggrin I will say that they look nice compared to the huge ones on that statue in Italy. When I was a kid on holiday on Penang Island (northern part of West Malaysia) back in the 60s (showing my age) the family visited the famous snake temple and I recall there were snakes everywhere and in a huge pit in the centre of the temple were the biggest fatest snakes I have ever seen in my life. It was considered good luck to touch one. I have no idea what you got if you touched the big ones in the pit. eek

Pavel,

Maybe they're descended from the snakes that St. Patrick kicked out of Ireland and are performing penance for them! wink

That temple in Malaysia reminded me of Raiders of the Lost Ark where they were sealed in the snake pit. eek

I personally have no problem with snakes as long as they don't bite me! smile My grandma on the other hand... eek
