Tuesday, June 25, 2002 WHISTLEBLOWER MAGAZINE 'Gay' rights' secret agenda How the homosexual activist movement has targeted America's children Posted: June 25, 2002 1:00 a.m. Eastern 2002 WorldNetDaily.com One of its most controversial, hard-hitting editions ever published, the July issue of WorldNetDaily's acclaimed Whistleblower magazine is a stunning expos of the homosexual activist movement. "This issue of the magazine is breathtaking," said Editor and CEO Joseph Farah. "I don't think most people, even WND's sophisticated readership, know what 'gay rights' is really all about. The July issue just vaporizes the movement's slick marketing veneer, and then documents thoroughly the nightmarish world these powerful, well-funded activists have in store for America's children." [ Linked Image] Called "Gay rights' secret agenda," the issue explores "How and why the homosexual activist movement has targeted America's children." "Gay characters have become the norm on sitcoms," writes Steve Baldwin in one of the issue's reports. "It has become fashionable to attack the Boy Scouts; homosexual propaganda inundates many of America's public schools; nearly all the mainstream religious denominations have 'revised' their understanding of biblical teaching concerning homosexuality; and the gay 'rights' legislative agenda is succeeding beyond the advocates' wildest imaginations." Thus, says Baldwin, "it is difficult to convey the dark side of the homosexual culture without appearing harsh. However, it is time to acknowledge that homosexual behavior threatens the foundation of Western civilization - the nuclear family. An unmistakable manifestation of the attack on the family unit is the homosexual community's efforts to target children both for their own sexual pleasure and to enlarge the homosexual movement. "The homosexual community and its allies in the media scoff at this argument," Baldwin notes. "They insist it is merely a tactic to demonize the homosexual movement." But truth is stranger than fiction, notes the author: "Research confirms that homosexuals molest children at a rate vastly higher than heterosexuals, and the mainstream homosexual culture commonly promotes sex with children. Homosexual leaders repeatedly argue for the freedom to engage in consensual sex with children, and blind surveys reveal a shockingly high number of homosexuals admit to sexual contact with minors. Indeed, the homosexual community is driving the worldwide campaign to lower the legal age of consent." But that's just the beginning. July's Whistleblower includes: "Activists in the newsroom," by Joseph Farah, revealing in their own words how homosexuals have risen to high positions in the "mainstream" media and made it all but impossible to get the "straight" story. "Child molestation and the homosexual movement," by Steve Baldwin, documenting in-depth how the "gay-rights agenda" is strongly focused on youth. "Sex, lies and Kinsey," by Dr. Judith Reisman, revealing how criminal pedophile experiments on infants and toddlers were enshrined as liberating "research," became the basis of our modern beliefs about sex, and succeeded in revolutionizing science, education, law and psychiatry. "Catholics learning sex from Kinsey's disciples," by Art Moore, documenting for the first time how the late reputed-pedophile professor's teaching created an environment for scandals, and how Kinsey's radically non-Christian teachings became enmeshed in the Catholic Church in America. "'Pedophile priests' and Boy Scouts," by David Kupelian, explaining why the news media have a wildly double standard in covering "gay" issues. "'Safe schools': The Trojan Horse of the 'gay' education movement?" by Linda P. Harvey, an in-depth look at the current push for "safe zones" - often amounting to homosexual recruiting zones - in America's public schools. Find out why Dr. James Dobson has publicly called for parents to take their children out of public schools that indoctrinate kindergarten-age students with "homosexual propaganda." "Republicans walking tightrope on 'gay rights,'" by Robert H. Knight, showing how the Bush administration is freely appointing homosexuals to high positions. "Why Judaism rejected homosexuality," by Dennis Prager. This stunning report, which won the first prize from the prestigious Amy Foundation, reveals how the Jewish religion, and later Christianity, brought about the ultimate sexual revolution. One of the most important and revealing articles on homosexuality ever published. "Gay rights' secret agenda," by David Kupelian, which explores the core reasons that activist homosexuals are obsessed with youth. "Change is possible" by Stephen Bennett. A former promiscuous gay - now happily married for nine years and with two children - describes his "coming out" of homosexuality. "Our goal with Whistleblower has always been to showcase the kind of groundbreaking reporting and raw, truthful information that could truly change the reader's paradigm - the way he sees things," said WND Vice President and Managing Editor David Kupelian. "This issue of Whistleblower succeeds in that big-time. I think our readers will be in a state of shock when they read this issue. Their understanding of the Catholic Church's sex scandal, of what's really happening to America's public schools and other institutions, and even of their own religion, will never be the same." http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=28069

SteveD, if you have something to say, then say it yourself and stop posting other people's work. As I think it may have been said before, it could even be considered copyright infringement. Moe

There have been books, one in particular, which has detailed much of this. Does anyone know the book of which I speak?

There are a lot of places where this topic can be discussed. But I am at a loss on how this relates to the specific issues of the Byzantine Catholic Church? There are all sorts of websites where issues of Catholic sexuality are discussed, and Lord knows, there are all sorts of opinions. But as part of the 'minority' group of "Catholics", we Byzantines should be focusing more on the issues that relate to our Church as a Church under siege; sexuality is only one component of issues that have an impact on our very existence as a faith community. But we are losing people, losing priests, and are in severe danger of losing the spirituality that we cherish as a legitimate pathway to God. We are, for want of better terms, an endangered species. And if we wish to survive, then we had better focus on those issues that are directly related to our viability as a living community and not get caught up in issues that, while relevant, are tangential to our very existence.

Dr. John, don't you know that the fate of the whole Christian world hinges on fighting this "homosexual agenda"??? Those hidden homosexuals are behind all the evils of the world, taking the place of freemasonry in the boogey man hall of fame, heck for all we know they be masonic! Moe

I am 32nd degree one myself!!!
I will admit the gay rights movement benefits more from the wackiness and bigotry of our adversaries than our own efforts. Everytime I read stuff like the original post I just simile!

Dr. John,
I am a high school graduate and certified Master Gardener. My area of expertise lays in fighting toilet bowl rust stains & ring around the collar. Yet without the benefit of a "higher education" I can see the relevance of what this has to do with our Church. This agenda is taught to children (which includes Byzantine Catholic children) in many public schools under the guise of sex education or "social studies". I think that there are a lot of Catholic children walking around thinking homo/lesbian sexual relationships are OK because of this. Its is just not tolerance that is taught either. When Bishop Gregory says the Priesthood cannot be predominately homosexual I see a connection. Why would he bring up the subject if its not an issue? The agenda has infiltrated the Church, but the Church teaching still stands ,sexual acts between the same sex are disordered and sinful. No matter how we are beaten over the head with this agenda and our children are brainwashed these folks still have to deal with the Holy Spirit they aren't changing his mind. And the recent sex scandal in the Catholic Church proves it.He will just purge the Church when need be.

Yikes, I thought that things like corporate greed, child labor, and the poisoning of the environment were important? What a fool I've been! (First Enron, now WorldCom. 1,000 folks here in metro Washington have lost their jobs because of WorldCom chicanery. And credit card scams. "Buy! Buy! Buy! Even if you can't afford it!" You can pay US to use our money on material things that aren't necessities -- and we've got you hooked.)
Gee, and I thought that there were other things way more important than a person's intimate life. Things like spirituality and prayer, and ethical treatment of one's neighbor.

Dr. John,
When they stop having Gay Pride parades and being so vocal about their sexuality and stop atacking the Church for its teachings on it ,it can go back to being their personal business. World com & Enron or credit cards didn't bring scandal to the Church. Sex with children, teenage boys & men and secret pay offs did. Spirituality, prayer & ethical treatment of people are important. If the homosexual Priests who are responsible for the scandal ,practiced those 3 things we wouldn't have the scandal in the first place.Their actions suggest being in agreement with the article brought forth in this thread.

I am usually and generally in agreement with Nicky's Baba - (I learned: never cross the babas!). I think, however, that there are two very separate issues here. The first is the scandal in the Church. It seems clear to me that adults (including the clergy) need to take responsibliity for any errant actions - not only the abuse, but also the attempts to cover it up. And, it is also a matter for the civil authorities to investigate and prosecute if necessary.
The issue of "gay pride" parades, I place in the same category of local festivals that sub-groups of folks in our society have. I always look forward to the Polish and Ukrainian (and Greek and Italian) festivals in Baltimore. I go because I enjoy the food and the music and I pick up some chatchkees or T-shirts and have a good time. But it's my choice to go (or not go). I don't go to the Caribbean festival; I don't care for the food. And I don't go to the Indian festival either, not because I don't like Indians (I do), but cumin makes me ill. And it seems that everything has cumin in it!!
I guess that it's part of being American. In our society we have all sorts of people who identify with one group or another. And I can choose to participate, or I can stay home or go to a movie. And to be perfectly honest, I both love and really appreciate the freedoms that we enjoy in our country.
Blessings!

Since we Eastern Christians (both Catholic and Orthodox) are called to proclaim Jesus Christ to the entire world and to invite everyone to follow Him, all societal issues (including the topic of the homosexual subculture within the United States) are valid topics for discussion on The Byzantine Forum. As Christians in America we do have a responsibility to participate in the ongoing nationwide discussion on morality. We cannot hide the light of our Christian witness under a bushel basket. All too often we seem to hold a real ghetto mentality as if our Eastern Christian witness and the associated moral values we have inherited from Christ have no place in American society.
I remind Steve D. that it is not acceptable to post entire columns. It is acceptable to post a relevant portion of such an article together with a link and then present your own views on the topic, what you think the Church has to say to the topic, or ask questions of other members.
I respectfully disagree with Dr. John that "gay pride" parades are the equivalent of ethnic festivals. The Church does not teach that it is sinful to be Polish, Ukrainian or Italian. The Church does teach that those who live an active homosexual lifestyle are always making a intrinsically and morally wrong choice (and that the sinfulness of this choice is based upon both the intention and circumstance behind the wrong choice). We need not judge specific individuals for their actions. But we also cannot pretend that the homosexual lifestyle is morally acceptable or neutral.

The Administrator and Nicky's Baba are correct. I'm weary of some here trying to dictate that an issue cannot be discussed because the Church's position on it doesn't agree with theirs. If you don't wish to discuss it then ignore the thread. If the Church cannot carry the high moral ground which it has virtually relinquished what good is our witness.
The homosexualists have driven many good Byzantine priestly candidates out of the ministry. I know this from the witness of many who have been driven out. We do need more priests. We do need to evangelize. But until we get our act together on this moral issue we will have injured ourselves and crippled our witness.
I, too, wish we could talk about other issues. I don't even like talking about this at all. But until we reclaim our faith on this one the rest will forever be hampered.
I've seen enough gay pride parades along the streets of Chicago for more than three life times. They march in front of Holy Name Cathedral taunting Christ and His Church. Give me a break. We have Spanish parades, Polish, African American, none of them prance around half naked. None of them mock the Church. The Gay Pride parades always do these things. There is no moral equivalence between gay and ethnic parades.
John, once again you are on the wrong side of a very important issue. Lord, have mercy.

Catholics (of which I am not) have every right to hold to the teachings of their church and to express it publicly. However, no moral right exists to be dishonest, to employ false accusations even in defense of a just cause, or to deny others theri freedom of conscience.
The Catholic Church has widely known teachings on artifical contraception. Yet their are no reports of contraceptivists being fired from their job, being violently assulted on the street, being unlovingly rejected by their family, being tied to a fencepost in Wyoming and left for dead, being villified by public opinion leaders, or being subject to any other form of gross and severe discrimination.
And I cannot believe that those brave souls who work to change these realities are bad Catholics, even if their number is limited on this board.

Dr. John,Dr. John, Dr. John,
There is a connection between the article and whats happened with our Church. I do want you to know that no I'm not homophobic and I believe that there are people with homosexual tendencies who try hard to adhere to the teachings of the Church. I don't think they are the folks pushing this agenda or participate in the parades. I do pray for them because it would seem to be an overwhelming burden to live with.

Axios,
Two could play the blame game. Their are plenty of incidents of homosexual rape and abuse in the world. There are stories of homosexual torture and the like. The Church does not condone these things...no communion in the Church does. Yet, you suggest that the Church is somehow at fault for the torture and murder of a young man out west when the Church had nothing to do with it.
If you are serious about your devotion to Christ and the Church why not look at what she teaches and what her adherents overwhelmingly observe?
