biggrin That's funny. But one thing I have noticed from the women I know who are always going on and on about oppressed femininity, partriarchal society, and equal rights, is the lack of understanding about the down side to equal rights - do it yourself, lady. Is your arm broken? wink biggrin

ROTFL! Haven't seen that one in a while.

It reminds me of a part of "Bill Cosby, Himself" that my husband and I just watched a few days ago. Bill Cosby said, regarding his wife:

"I'm not the boss of my house. I don't know where I lost it. I don't know when I lost it. But I've seen the boss's job... and I don't want it!"

My husband wholeheartedly agrees with him.

Hi Charles,

If this puts it more into perspective for you, my husband is the one that actually sent this to me from work! LOL! wink

It is healthy to laugh at oneself once in a while wink smile wink

Fondly,
Alice

P.S. (and if men were any different, we wouldn't love them the way we do! smile )

I do laugh at myself, and it was funny. But women have their little foibles that are hilarious, too. Like when a woman says to another woman, "that dress is really cute." What she means is, "how that hippo got poured into that dress is beyond me." biggrin Or when a woman tells you, "you'll like her, she's really attractive," what she means is, "she has one leg 6 inches shorter than the other, but you won't notice." biggrin I think both sexes probably give God many good laughs. biggrin

Did you want to say that when women say "No!" they mean "Yes!"? biggrin

Dear Charles,

Truly very funny and very true! biggrin

You have the female gender down pat in the flattery category! eek

I often have to think about who is giving me a compliment in order to discern if I should accept it or not! LOL! wink

For what it is worth, I really do try to be honest, and I LOVE to give GENUINE compliments to my women friends, co workers and acquaintances.

Fondly,
Alice

Alice,

Excellent! But my wife dragged me through homeschool version of those classes. Several times. biggrin

I graduated with honors and now we are doing an independent study of "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus." Pastors should mandate the reading of this book for their prospective marriage preparations.
