Some of us have been discussing having a Scripture Discussion on the Forum. Possibly going through the daily readings or using Sundays for the week as our guide since we are both Orthodox and Catholic for a beginning. We would like to know if others are interested and if you would have any suggestions as to the choice of materials to use.
Thanks, Pani Rose

Dear Pani Rose,
I would like to participate in some way in the bible study. I like the proposal that you have given and think we should follow that plan.
In IC XC, Father Anthony+
Everyone baptized into Christ should pass progressively through all the stages of Christ's own life, for in baptism he receives the power so to progress, and through the commandments he can discover and learn how to accomplish such progression. - Saint Gregory of Sinai

Pani Rose,
I would be interested in joining in a Scripture Discussion and would be willing to follow any plan you choose, though I think discussing the Sunday readings would be excellent.

Pani Rose,
A Year in the Grace of Our Lord would be a good supplementary guide to follow in doing the bible study if the Lectionary is used.

Pani Rose,
To my knowledge no, but I am sure that something can be worked out if need, so that everyone can share with it.

Me too! Me too! Even though I am, um, well, Protestant, I would really like to participate in a Bible study and I promise I won't be quarrelsome or prostletyzing(sp?) or anything nasty like that. After all, I am attending my daughter's catechumen classes and I am mostly very quiet! Blessings Michele

Well Pani Rose,
It looks like a divinely inspired idea is picking up steam. Let us pray that a few more can participate.
