Just curious, why not use the lance, which is called for in the sluzhebnik? They make them with a knife quality blade that can be sharpened.
T [/b]Tony, Father displays the lance and has shown me in private how he uses it. Apparently he uses both. However, not being a deacon or a priest I don't know for certain. Concerning Cutco knives. They are very sharp. We use them all of the time and with rare exception never need to be sharpened. Dan L

It is interesting and encouraging to learn that Dan never needs to be sharpened. I wish I could say the same for myself.
