I am stil waiting a reply from St. Michael's and as yet, not yet.
I am looking for a simple wall calendar for 2007, like the ones parishes are apt to issue. I would like an Eastern Catholic calendar, from what parish, it matters not, hopefully a Byzantine (Ruthenian, Ukrainian, or RUSSIAN)parish. if any one has one to spare, let me know.see you Wednesday.thanx.
Much Love,
Jonn

Last time I looked, Saint Elias parish in Brampton, Ontario, was doing a nice wall calendar. I get mine from the St. John of Kronstadt Press, and a friend usually gives me one from the Old-Rite parish in Erie, PA - both of those, of course, are the traditional Julian Calendar.

Ask if you can purchase of the 2007 liturgical wall calendar. They may not be ready for distribution yet but they will certainly sell you one once they are ready.

Speaking of calendars some may find this one interesting:
THE ST. HERMAN CALENDAR features dates according to the Church (Julian) Calendar alongside the civil (Gregorian) calendar. Scriptural references are from the King James Version of the Holy Bible.

The Orthodox (Julian or "Old") Calendar, with corresponding civil dates. A complete Calendar of Orthodox saints, Scripture readings, and fasting guidelines for every day of the year, together with a listing of uncanonized righteous ones of recent centuries. Numerous saints and righteous ones have been added to this years Calendar.

The 2007 Calendar is dedicated to the Orthodox (pre-Schism) saints of Southern Italy: Sicily, Calabria, Campania, Basilicata, and Puglia. Brief biographies of many of these early saints are accompanied by iconographic portraits.Afeature article traces the history of the Greek-speaking Orthodox Christians of this area from the early sixth century to the early twelfth century - from Emperor Justinians conquest of the Goths there, through the iconoclast controversy and Muslim domination, to the Norman conquest. Special attention is given to the monastic movements native to Southern Italy and their effect on the civil and ecclesiatical life of the region.

104 pages, Journal format, paperback, illustrated, $9.00
