Hi Everybody. I am new to this forum and to the Byzantine Catholic Church. We are Roman Catholics and plan to petition to change rites in another year or two. We fell in love with the Liturgy and our parish (Epiphany, Roswell, GA). We would like to see more of the Church though--other parishes, cathedrals, pilgrimage sights, shrines, etc. I have an idea to plan a summer vacation to include such places. Does anyone have any suggestions about places to visit? I'm guessing that the Pittsburgh area might have the most places to see, but all suggestions would be most welcome. Also, are there any events or camps planned for the summer--for children maybe? We have three children and it would be wonderful if they could meet other Byzantine youth. Thank you all very much. Happy New Year to everyone.

Georgia,

Welcome to the Forum smile . In your own state, I highly recommend a visit to St. John Chrysostom Melkite Catholic parish [melkite.org] in Atlanta or, a bit further away, to St. Ignatios of Antioch Melkite Catholic parish [melkite.org] in Augusta.

Many years,

Neil
