Does anyone know if Kahlil Gibran continued to practice as a Maronite Catholic throughout his life? He was born into a Maronite family and buried at a Maronite monastery in Lebanon, but I can't find very much info regarding the practice of his faith. Seems so many others "claim" him. Can anyone help me with this?

Maybe you can search for Maronite Parrishes. You might find a few email addresses and get someone with the information.

I did a quick search and found this:
Gibran died of liver disease, possibly accelerated by alcoholism, in New York on April 10, 1931. Upon his death, his body was shipped back to his hometown in Lebanon, where alongside his tomb The Gibran Museum was later established. In his will Gibran left all the royalties of his books to his native village.
